Word on the street is there’s an emerging force on the political scene, with the recent creation of CHUJA, a new party suspected to have been formed by young politicians. Could this be the latest contender for 2022?
Judging from the CHUJA social media pages, the party already has a logo of a clenched fist, perhaps representing freedom. It’s not clear if the party has been formally registered as yet, and calls to the Register of Parties have gone unanswered.
Facebook posts have used statements like: “Ni Wakati Wa Kuamua”, loosely translated as “It is time to decide”, and “Life haiwezi endelea as usual. Hatuwezi endelea kuimagine vitu zitachange kama hatufanyi anything. Lazima turise up tujipiganie. Amua kuCHUJA! #CHUJA”.
